About the Lawn Tennis Association of Malaysia

The national governing body for tennis in Malaysia, dedicated to growing the sport and supporting players, coaches and officials across the country.

Who We Are

The Lawn Tennis Association of Malaysia (LTAM) is the national governing body for tennis in Malaysia. LTAM works to develop the sport across the country, running competitive circuits, and upholding consistent standards of officiating.

From grassroots beginnings through to national and international competition, LTAM supports a clear pathway for players — coordinating junior and senior events, publishing official rankings, and providing development opportunities for players, coaches and officials across Malaysia.

What We Do

Competitive Circuits

LTAM runs sanctioned junior circuits across various age categories — providing structured competition at every stage of a player's career.

Official Rankings

Regularly updated LTAM rankings — based on tournament performance and used for seeding, eligibility and a transparent view of player progress.

Player Development

LTAM supports development pathways that help players progress from grassroots to national and international competition.

Officiating & Education

LTAM certifies and develops match officials and coaches through workshops and courses, helping ensure consistent standards across every LTAM-sanctioned event in Malaysia.
